Embrace My Paranoia?

Now I am hardly a person prone to paranoia, but I can certainly enjoy fiction where the protagonist is paranoid or has reasons to act in a manner that others might consider to be paranoid. And I could certainly see myself enjoying a tabletop roleplaying game (TTRPG) where paranoia is baked into the game.
A while back, I posed a question to X’s Grok 3 AI where I inquired as to what TTRPG would I be most likely to enjoy. I was a little surprised by the answer, as I had kind of forgotten about Paranoia. Paranoia is published by Mongoose Publishing and the publisher has released an updated “The All New Shiny Edition” (https://www.mongoosepublishing.com/collections/paranoia). It certainly seems like a great time to give the game a try.
I have been reading the books for a couple of the TTRPGs that I already have in my collection and I’m looking forward to continuing my foray into the dark, Lovecraftian/cosmic horror setting of Call of Cthulhu. But I have to say that I am thinking seriously now about picking up a copy of Paranoia at some point in the future.
If you have an irreverent sense of humor and think that roleplaying in a dark, dystopian world where trust is disposable and betrayal is more or less expected sounds like fun, you too might want to take a look at the Paranoia TTRPG and join your fellow troubleshooters (troublemakers?) at the gaming table. If so, click on the link above to be directed to the Mongoose Publishing website.
