Unclean (@CoyoteUnclean) has posted to X (formerly Twitter) an interesting and thought-provoking thread relating to the pain felt by the individual and the Preamble to the Declaration of Independence. He makes a compelling argument that we find lessons, meaning, and truth in our pain and that tyrants and would-be tyrants would strip us of our individual pain to lump us together into groups and assign grievances to us as a member of a group. He cautions us against allowing anyone to do this to us and argues that we as individuals are ultimately responsible for working through our pain and triumphing against it. I encourage you to take a moment to read the thread (click on the link below) and to ponder what it means to you as both an individual and as a citizen of a free country.
